Growing up, I had a childhood friend who always let me braid her hair, any day, anytime, even though she was bald. I’d tie a knot until I was able to stick the extension to her hair and make something out of it. She’d be so happy, and when she got home, her mum would pull it out, and we’d do it again the next day—every day.

As I got older, I decided to study and master the art of hairstyling. I studied braiding, weaving, and more. I began practicing on friends and family, and soon, friends of friends started coming. That’s how Braids by Blexin was born.
